I put my corset on in the morning and I can’t take it off until the house is clean (or dubbed “clean enough” by D). 4 hours later, kitchen and bathroom are sparkling.
…in unrelated news, D has been kissing me on the cheek less lately.
It’s really nice to hear that at least sometimes I help people ^_^ even if most of what I do is collect bad cosmetics ad copy.
Highest ingredients or highest copywriter?
All about that bass on the other hand is being called a body positive song and it’s definitely not. Which in my opinion is okay I think.
I just don’t like how she uses mens desires to justify/validate women’s bodies. Like who the fuck cares what men want??? Lol. I don’t think any…
I don’t mind body positivity either but I’d much rather listen to Katy Perry’s Firework or firecracker whatever that song is than Anaconda. It’s basically debasing towards women, by a woman. I understand that all the feminists are going to like it because on the face of it, the song lyrics denote a woman who is strong in her body type and likes the attention of men and she flaunts it. I, on the other hand, find that it’s nothing more than another one of those “I’m sexy and I know it” songs which is utter bs.
At least Sir Mix-a-Lot’s song “Baby got Back” made a point. Especially in the 90’s. Anaconda is just….pointless.
At least, in my opinion, it is.
yea but Katy Perry is a racist, transphobic butthole that trolls tumblr to steal ppl’s looks
Also as a teenager, a lot of my body issues had to do with my raging hormones and wanting to get laid. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to fuck who I wanted to fuck, so… there’s that.
Hourglass Ambient lighting blush, am I the only one who thinks this looks like a marbled steak in a blush compact? Also it’s description makes it sound like it’s the second coming of christ:
Discover a new way to blush. Hourglass has fused Ambient Lighting Powder, the cutting-edge collection of finishing powders, with an array of vivid cheek colors, creating a hybrid product that is unique, contemporary, and revolutionary. Unlike traditional blush, which tends to be flat, Ambient Lighting Blush uses Photoluminescent Technology to exhibit depth and dimension. The airy, lightweight powders contain optically transparent particles that amplify the colors to a multidimensional level—effectively reinventing the way you view blush.
Each handmade blush is formulated using an advanced miscelare technique to create the perfect balance of pigment and powder, and no two look alike. (“Miscelare” means “to mix” in Italian.) The six shades ranging from soft coral to cool pink are a wardrobe of captivating accent lights for cheeks. They deliver a radiant, natural finish and offer buildable color to imbue the entire complexion with an otherworldly glow.
“Miscelare technique” “miscelare means to mix in Italian” so you mixed it in Italian, now that’s some technique. "Photoluminescent technology? Is shimmery powder really a “technology” now? "Optically transparent" is kind of questionable. What other kind of transparent would they be? Oh beauty copywriters, I love you, never change.
It is actually really nice blush though.
This is honestly nearly as bad as the time I had a horse with no name stuck i my head for a week.
